How We Roll

We carry out the Trout Unlimited Mission through educational programs, including:

Winooski River Green Up Day
Our annual Green up day on the Winooski River at Bolton Dam. It's an opportunity for our volunteers to work together for riverside trash removal. Throughout the morning volunteers scour the banks of the Winooski for trash and discarded debris. The clean up is followed by a cookout at Bolton Dam, after which we head out to the river for some afternoon fishing.

In addition to these programs, CVTU has 'Boots on the Ground Projects' where we lend our physical and financial support to maintain and restore waterways affected by storms or neglect.

We recently completed a 2-year-project at Mill Brook where trees were planted to ensure that this important stream remain a viable spawning corridor to the Winooski River.

Do you have an idea, a potential project, or know of a location in need of help? Please contact us and we will check it out!
