Handicap access

It would be helpful if CVTU had a list of handicap accessible fishing sites in Chittenden County.

Hi Sharon - Vermont Fish and Wildlife lists four "universal access" sites in Chittenden County: Colchester Point and Heineberg Bridge, both in Colchester on the Winooski River, and two sites at the mouth of the Lamoille River in Milton. A little farther afield there are universal access platforms on Grand Isle, on Allen Point and Mud Creek Pond. Farther still, there's Eagle Park on the upper New Haven River near Lincoln to the south, and Fisher Bridge on the upper Lamoille near Wolcott. According to Fish and Wildlife, these are true ADA-accessible locations.

CVTU works to ensure that robust populations of native and wild coldwater fish continue to thrive throughout Northwest and Central Vermont. In doing so, we will maintain healthy fisheries for the enjoyment of future generations.
