Rainbows were biting

My son and I had a great morning on the Lamoille. Wild rainbows, no clip fin. Six o clock in the morning. Two sinker. A worm on size six hook. Saw a huge rainbow jump out of the water twice in same location. Wonderful morning. All rainbows had pink meat. They must of been eating crawfish for a while. Nine inches to 12 and half inches.

We have also gone after trout with panther martins

One brown was wild the other was a stock.

I recognize that spot. I never had that kind of luck there.

CVTU works to ensure that robust populations of native and wild coldwater fish continue to thrive throughout Northwest and Central Vermont. In doing so, we will maintain healthy fisheries for the enjoyment of future generations.
