River Level Update

The recent rain, over 2.5” at my house in Williston, has made huge differences in river levels. Last Sunday the Lamoille in Georgia was at 160cfs. Today it was 868cfs. I fished below Peterson Dam both days. Last Sunday yielded two white perch. Today saw a 16 walleye and two beautiful 18” salmon, one egg laden hen and on feisty buck.

If you have a favorite fall fishing hole, now is the time to get out there.

CVTU works to ensure that robust populations of native and wild coldwater fish continue to thrive throughout Northwest and Central Vermont. In doing so, we will maintain healthy fisheries for the enjoyment of future generations.
